Inspect & prepare
Confirm substrate stability, surface condition and moisture. Clean, repair and level the intended surface before the trial.
For remodelling companies, designers, panel manufacturers and project owners. Tell us enough to recommend the next technical discussion.
For architecture: mark façade elevation, orientation and floor. For mobility: mark cabin, port/starboard side or vehicle trim part. For technology: identify the panel, housing, interface layer and process stage. Provide a marked drawing or photo with dimensions in the enquiry email.
Open a term for its meaning. The enquiry choices below describe your project requirements; they do not imply that every finish meets every requirement.
The base receiving the finish: for example MDF, HDF, steel, aluminium or an existing laminate. Its condition affects adhesion and appearance.
Engineered wood boards. MDF is medium-density fibreboard; HDF is high-density fibreboard. Particleboard contains bonded wood particles. Porous faces and edges need an appropriate preparation system.
PP means polypropylene. PET means polyethylene terephthalate. OPP means oriented polypropylene. These identify polymer families, not automatic proof of a particular performance.
Colour, Material and Finish: the combined design specification for visual appearance, texture and gloss.
Thermal Laminate Film: a film interface bonded through an industrial heat-and-pressure process. Confirm the grade, temperature window and equipment.
The adhesive, primer or thermal-lamination layer that joins the decorative surface to its base. Compatibility must be established for both materials.
Peel adhesion is resistance to separation under a defined test. Edge lift is separation starting at an edge. Test conditions and ageing must accompany the result.
UV is ultraviolet radiation. Weathering testing evaluates changes under stated light, heat and moisture exposure. Test duration alone does not establish real-world service life.
Volatile organic compounds and other emitted substances. A report must identify the tested construction, method and conditions; film results do not automatically cover the underlying board.
The reaction of a specified material or assembly to fire under a defined test. Specify the required method and assembly; decorative sheets are not universally fireproof.
Abrasion concerns wear from repeated contact. Chemical resistance concerns defined cleaners or substances at stated concentrations and exposure times.
MOQ is minimum order quantity. Batch identifies a production lot. Grain direction is the orientation of a wood or linear pattern; align it with the panel layout.
A representative trial installation or manufactured panel used to approve appearance, bonding, seams and edge details before larger-scale work.
Application-specific review of exposure and required tests. Architectural interiors, yacht interiors, vehicle interiors and exterior wraps require separate suitability decisions.
Confirm substrate stability, surface condition and moisture. Clean, repair and level the intended surface before the trial.
Select the appropriate primer or industrial lamination route for the grade and substrate. Follow the approved product instructions.
Review colour, texture, edge detail, adhesion and grain direction on a representative panel. Plan consistent production batches.
The supplied decorative-sheet guide gives an application ambient range of 10–38°C. Confirm the final grade-specific conditions and cleaning method before work starts.
Tell us the space, the substrate and the finish you have in mind. We will discuss material selection, samples and quotation requirements.
